WIP 1 - Digital Performance

For my project, I want to use mad mapper to create visuals on top of some different house plants. I want to create visuals which can demonstrate the different personalities of various plants. For example, a longer vine like plant may be overlaid with a flowing effect, whereas a cactus plant would be overlaid with a geometric pattern or something more brutal. I plan to create a performance around this concept with some nice music. I am not yet sure which song or songs I will use. So far, I have taken a picture of a small plant in my house and used mad mapper to trace the leaves of the plant and play around with certain patterns. My roommate has a nice projector so I’m intending to use that in my performance. I think having a series of plants set up in front of a nice background with various patterns would make for a cool performance.
